The subject matter covers detailed explanation of the essential features of purification, Salah, Zakah, Sawm, Hajj and Ziyarah as well as human dealings ranging from sales and business transactions, family law including marriage, divorce and inheritance as well as rulings on less encountered subjects such as hunting, criminal law and warfare.
Shaikh Ahmad ‘Isa ‘Ashur (1899 – 1990 CE), who abridged Kifayat al Akhyar, was a leading Fiqh scholar of the renowned Al-Azhar University, Egypt in the past century.
